Applicable for most Mercedes FOBs 2010 and older. If your FOB looks different than the one pictured please contact us with pictures before buying.
- 1997–2000 (Motorola): Early plastic “SmartKeys” used older Motorola chips.
- 2001–2010 (NEC): Uses standard pin-leg NEC chips.
- 2011–2014/2015 (BGA): Shifted to the chrome key design utilizing a BGA chip. Many times non-repairable.
We can test all functions of the remote key and transponder, so we can guarantee your FOB is functioning as it should be. Please be aware that your vehicle electronics could also be the culprit for a malfunctioning FOB.
