A couple of months ago, the radio (Head Unit) in my wife's BMW X3 just stopped working.  I checked the fuses, checked for codes, nothing obvious presented.  I rebooted the unit, and it worked for a few minutes and then went to black screen again.  Digging around the internet, I found ECU Medics and contacted Filipe.  After a lengthy effort with Filipe on the phone directing my testing of components and connections, Filipe brilliantly found the root cause.  A couple of days later the replacement component arrived and he again, walked me through the installation and handled the recoding. Living in rural Maine, nearly 2 hours from the nearest BMW dealership, the convenience of working with Filipe is immeasurable.  Furthermore, in my opinion, it is unlikely that the dealership would have been able to diagnose the issue, unless they have an expert like Filipe.
