FRM Failure Description
FRM module commonly fails due to a drop in voltage.
This can be caused by a flat battery, jump starting, while changing the battery and sometimes after diagnostics or programming.

Below is a list of the most common symptoms of FRM module failure:
-Lost connection with OBD2The lights switch does not work (headlight always on).
-Indicators not showing feedback on instrument cluster.

  1. I have a 2010 bmw x5 e70 and I believe the FRM module has quit working. Pw, pm lights etc quit working after I disconnected the battery to do some work on my x5.
    If I remove the FRM and bring it up to you ( I’m from Red Deer ) would I be able to get it fixed the same day? And what would be the cost for that service?

  2. My Lighting System Malfunction comes on but all my lights and everything else functions just fine.
    It only comes on in the morning after first startup of the day.
