BMW CAS4 Module Repair & Restore Service (All Models)

This is a mail-in Repair service for your BMW CAS4 Module (white box under steering column).
Applies to all BMW equipped with CAS4 Modules (Car Access System).

Common symptoms are no communication with scanner, key not recognized and engine no-start.
We will test your CAS module and repair if possible or suggest a clone onto donor module (not included).
Install is Plug & Play and No additional coding or programming necessary.

If we deem your module unrepairable we will offer you the option to clone onto a donor module.
You will have to provide a donor CAS module or you can purchase one from us at a discount.

You CAS Module can fail for a few reasons and show symptoms such as:

• Unit not communicating with Diagnostic Equipment (Bricked)
• Not engaging the engine starter (Especially Mini Coopers)
• Keys Not being recognized or stuck in ignition switch.
• CAS Module Unresponsive after Failed programming (Bricked)

Problem

It can randomly fail, the main failure happens on hardware level.
It often fails when cheap tools are used to make new keys.​

Solution

We can try to repair them, if it is not repairable then we will clone them to working used CAS4 module, And after it will be plug and play.

There are Few types of CAS4 MCUs (Processors)

• CAS4     MC9S12XDP512 with MASK 1L15Y
• CAS4+  MC9S12XEP100 with MASK 5M48H
• CAS4+  MC9S12XEP100 with MASK 1N35H

When Cloning, MCU and MASK should match.

Common Faults
