BMW MINI CAS3 Module Repair & Restore Service (All Models)

This is a mail-in Repair service for your BMW or MINI CAS3 Module (black box under steering column).
Applies to all BMW / MINI Models equipped with CAS3 Modules (Car Access System).

Common symptoms are no communication with scanner, key not recognized and engine no-start.
We will test your CAS module and repair if possible or suggest a clone onto donor module (not included).
Install is Plug & Play and No additional coding or programming necessary.

If we deem your module unrepairable we will offer you the option to clone onto a donor module.
You will have to provide a donor CAS module or you can purchase one from us at a discount.

You CAS Module can fail for a few reasons and show symptoms such as:

• Unit not communicating with Diagnostic Equipment (Bricked)
• Not engaging the engine starter (Especially Mini Coopers)
• Keys Not being recognized or stuck in ignition switch.
• CAS Module Unresponsive after Failed programming (Bricked)

Common Faults

• A0C1 Terminal 50 Output. (Engine turns for only 1 second and shuts down)
• A0AA CAS system malfunction. (ELV Malfunction)
• A0AC CAS fault
• A115 ELV steering
• A116 CAS critical status ELV steering lock
• A0BE CAS: Terminal 15 output 1
• A0BF CAS: Terminal 15 output 2
• A0C0 CAS: Terminal 15 output 3
• A0A9 CAS: Control-module fault
