Lighting System Failure, no blinkers or power windows. These are all symptoms of a failed Footwell Module and is a common problem due to low voltage on many BMW and MINI from 2007-2014.

First you should check your battery voltage and all fuses for the Footwell Module. If your battery voltage and all fuses are OK then your module could be bad. With the symptoms above, more than likely your Footwell Module has become corrupt/bricked due to low voltage problems.

Luckily this problem is repairable but you will have to remove the module and find someone to repair the module back to original working order. In order to prevent this problem in the future it is recommended to update the Software to the latest version (available upon request). Footwell Module Location

The BMW Footwell Module (FRM) is located on the driver’s side footwell, by the side kick-panel. If your BMW is a left-hand drive, your FRM module will be at the left-hand kick panel as shown in the image. Similarly, if you have a right-hand drive BMW, it will be in the right-hand kick panel. It features a 128 pin, three plug control unit, which houses two 51 pin connectors. Another 26-pin connector is for the connection to the dashboard.
