At EcuMedics.com, we value transparency and want you to fully understand our return and refund process. This policy covers both tangible products and repair services.
1. Physical Products
Return Eligibility
- Applies only to physical, tangible items.
- Non-returnable: services, keys, downloadable software, and any custom-programmed products.
Return Window
- Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery (per tracking).
- Returns accepted for any reason, including testing, misdiagnosis, or change of mind.
Condition Requirements
Returned items must be in original condition. Items will not be accepted if damaged due to:
- Improper installation
- Exposure to water, fire, or extreme temperatures
- Electrical abuse (incorrect voltage/current)
- Unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification
Restocking Fee
- All refunds are subject to $150 or 20%, whichever is greater.
Shipping Costs
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- For items valued over $100, we recommend tracked shipping with insurance.
2. Repair Services
Service Scope
Repair services involve diagnostic evaluation, labor, and parts where applicable. Some repairs may not be possible due to prior damage or parts availability.
Non-Repairable Modules
- If a module has signs of prior tampering, corrosion, fire or water damage, or other conditions making it beyond repair, it will be returned as-is.
- A diagnostic/bench fee (deducted from your refund or charged separately) will apply to cover time and resources used.
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Repair Timeframes
- Most repairs are completed within the quoted timeframe.
- Delays may occur due to part shortages or complexity; in such cases, we will provide updated estimates.
Refunds During Service
- If a refund is requested before completion, we reserve the right to deduct a service/diagnostic fee from the refund.
- Once repairs are completed or services rendered, refunds are not available.
Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure the module sent is correct for your vehicle.
- Disclose any known history of prior repairs or modifications.
- Use secure, trackable shipping when sending your item to us.

4. Shipping & Liability
We are not responsible for loss or damage during return transit. For your protection, use a trackable shipping service and insurance for valuable items.
5. Agreement to Terms
By purchasing from EcuMedics.com, you acknowledge and agree to the terms in this policy. For repair services, you also agree that a diagnostic fee may be applied if your module is found non-repairable or has been tampered with.
