Having Emissions related problems with your X5 E70 Diesel?
Are you tired of breakdowns and expensive repair attempts?
If you are interested in either tuning or simply to delete one of the SCR, DPF or EGR systems of your BMW Diesel M57 Engine this service is for you.
We can help with tuning your Diesel for more Power or better fuel mileage or by deleting those pesky systems that may seem impossible to sort out.
No need to remove the engine computer (DDE). You just need a BMW KDCAN cable and a battery maintainer, and we flash the vehicle remotely.
Common Problems:
- SCR System: System error and poor urea / water mixture quality detected.
- Exhaust Fluid Incorrect
- Incorrect diesel exhaust fluid added
- 4D08 SCR System, warning and deactivation scenario: Warning Stage ( Maximum Range Reached )
- 41F9 SCR System : System Error and poor urea/water mixture quality detected
- 474C SCR System : warning and deactivation scenario: Warning level 1
- 4748 SCR System : warning and deactivation scenario: Warning level 2

BMW Diesel emissions systems can be broken down into 3 main categories:
- (1) The diesel particulate filter (DPF) is a device designed to remove soot particles from the exhaust of your diesel engine. Over time the DPF gets clogged with ash and other non-combustible residue. If the DPF gets too clogged your vehicle will go into limp mode to protect itself.
- (2) The Exhaust Gar Recirculation valve (EGR) is designed to recirculate exhaust gasses into the engine to be re-burnt before exiting into the atmosphere. Although this concept is great for reducing vehicle emissions, it can cause all sorts of problems over time as carbon begins building up inside the inlet manifold and engine.
- (3) AdBlue is a technology to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by injecting AdBlue or Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) into the hot exhaust. The system uses SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology, which places an oxidation catalyst after the exhaust manifold. When this system fails, the vehicle will go into timed shutdown mode and engine start will be prevented if problem is not corrected.
- Swirl flaps are located in your intake manifold. With Diesel deletes it is common to remove this system
Options
- AdBlue SCR DEF / DPF / EGR Delete
- Full Delete and Performance Tune
- Custom Tunes (3 iterations)
DPF Delete
-This option completely disabled the function of the DPF System
-Empty DPF or replace with downpipes, keeping the catalytic converter to avoid bad odour.
-Related Error Codes: 4010 / 4D4A / 480A / 481A / 4CF3 / 452A / 4DDA
EGR DELETE
-This option completely disables the function of the EGR System
-Install an EGR kit, preferably steel or high temperature resistant, unplug the electronic connector of the EGR.
-Related Error codes: 40A4 / 40D4 / 40E9 / 4501 / 4507 / 4875 / 485B / 4932 / 4933 / 4B29 / 4B2E / 4B2F / 4B81 / 4B82 / 4B8C / 4C9E / 4CAE
ADBLUE DELETE
-This option completely disabled the function of the AdBlue system.
-Nothing needs to be mechanically changed for this system
-Related Error Codes: 41F9 / 474C / 4748 / 4746 / 4D08
SWIRL FLAP DELETE
-This option completely disables the function of the Swirl Flap system
-Remove the actuator and the rod that controls the Swirl Flaps, remove the swirl flaps and any debris in the intake manifold then block off with the new Swirl Flap kit.
